AGIA SKEPI
Chittering Valley Farm
We are a boutique family farm situated at the outskirts of Perth, Western Australia. Part of the Darling Range, the beautiful Chittering Valley is where all the produce and products you get from us grow. Using organic, biodynamic farming approaches based on our spray-free philosophy, we grow wholesome food, we keep bees, we breed poultry and our beloved border collies, we raise sheep, and we stay connected to the land that nourishes us!
We breed heritage chickens and rainbow layers, turkeys, ducks, guinea fowl, geese and peacocks. We offer local pick up for all the above and we post hatching eggs all over Australia, with great success. Click here to learn more about our policies and process of purchasing fertile hatching eggs from us.
We offer quality fertile eggs that can be collected from our farm or posted throughout Australia. Please see our policy for posted fertile eggs here. We also offer chicks and pullets, ducklings, turkey poults as well as goslings seasonally.
Do you love border collies? So do we! Borders are the most amazing dogs not only because of their intelligence and lifelong commitment, but also because they can be bred to have the calmest, most affectionate and docile nature! Yes, we are definitely partial to border collies! And we are truly committed to responsible and ethical breeding of our beloved pets, ensuring that you find a healthy and happy companion.
Extra virgin olive oil is unique in Agia Skepi. Not only our olive groves are spray-free and cared for using organic and biodynamic practices, but they also benefit from the mild Mediterranean climate and the highly fertile red clay soil. With the only source of water being the rain, our seven varieties of olive trees produce premium quality olives that are cold-pressed into a fruity, mild, extra virgin oil with a fantastic unique aroma and a distinctive olive flavour that never disappoints. We marinate the larger varieties of our olives using our own olive oil and home-grown dried herbs.
Beekeeping is everyone’s dream, yet not many beekeepers are able to offer a spray-free farm with natural water sources to their bees. Here at Agia Skepi we have gone back to basics. No artificial sugars or any foods are offered to our bees. They fly free collecting nectar from our spray-free biodynamic olive and citrus groves. These, combined with the jarrah and marri forest at the back of the farm, provide for an amazingly creamy, flavoursome honey, which is harvested and brought to you in its raw, unprocessed, unfiltered form. Rich in bioactive compounds, our raw honey is a truly unique product that is highly sought after. Try it!
Organic goodness in its glory! No sprays or fertilisers are used in the farm. Our citrus groves and vineyards are fertilised by our sheep and guinea fowls, which also keep pests under control, whilst the only water source is the rain. Our table grapes are reticulated by our bores. We offer Imperial and Emperor mandarins as well as Valencia and Navel oranges seasonally. Our main wine grape variety is the rare Italian Barberas, and our table grapes include Red Globes, Flames, Sultanas, Crimson and more. The taste of both our citrus and grapes is nothing short of amazing and that’s why they are so sought after locally, but also at Perth markets. For more information, contact us here.
Dried herbs such as sage, rosemary and lavender are available throughout the year. We also keep a small, growing nursery with a few plants and herbs such as basil, mint, rosemary as well as seasonal vegetable seedlings and a few fruit trees.
Made with love and care, hampers and giftware are available primarily for Christmas and Easter as well as on other major celebrations, but are also made on order. They always include our own products such as our extra virgin olive oil, honey, olives and nougat made using our honey as well as extra treats depending on the occasion.
We value all of you as much as we appreciate your lovely feedback and wonderful photos of chicks you hatch from our eggs! Click here to see what people say about our products.

On certain times of the year, typically in winter and spring, we open our farm to the public offering farm tours. These are primarily family-focused and include feeding the sheep and alpacas, touring our poultry and beehive areas, as well as showcasing the honey harvest equipment and practices.
What started as an exploration of natural, chemical-free, organic skincare for ourselves, is now developing into some amazingly nourishing products for all the family. Our hand cream, face cream and shaving cream, are all made using our own olive oil, honey and wax, combined with organic coconut, almond, jojoba and other oils and essential oils to give you not only a refreshing and lasting effect on your skin, but also a beautiful mild aroma that is so pleasing to your senses!
